APPLICATION AND TESTING
Only the authorized guardian of a potential student may apply for admission to FCHS. (An authorized guardian is defined as a person who meets the current IRS criteria to claim the applicant as a dependent on their current federal tax return.) Proof of the parents/guardian's compliance with this requirement may be requested by FCHS at any time.
It is desired that both parents/guardians profess their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. However, at least one of the two must have a saving faith in Jesus Christ and attend a local church on a regular basis. (John 3:3,1; 1 Peter 1:23). All applicants who are accepted are done so on a six-week trial basis.
The admissions process begins with an appointment with the principal and admission personal, pre-entrance testing (if needed) and an application packet. Please provide copies of report cards, achievement test results, etc.
The admission procedures include the submission of a written application form with the application fee, an application review, a family interview, payment of the registration fee, and testing to enable the administration to make a responsible decision. The admission personal will use the information to assess the student's academic aptitude and to identify potential problems.
After testing and the initial appointment, applications are reviewed and parents are notified of the results. The review process will determine entrance or rejection of all applicants. If the applicant is accepted, the next step of the process is registration.
All applications are made to the governing authority of FCHS, who reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
